On May 30 of this year, a presentation was held at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of the visit of the Statistics Agency delegation to Statistics Korea on May 20-24 of this year.
In this presentation, the Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the Agency, Abrorali Mamadjanov, acquainted the participants with the issues discussed during the visit, the structure of the Statistics Korea office, the activities of territorial statistical bodies, the practice of forming statistics, methods of collecting and analyzing statistical data by economic sectors and Korea's experience in assessing the non-observed economy.
Abrorali Mamadjanov also spoke about the work process, practical activities, experience and capabilities of the Statistics Korea office, Statistics Data Center.
In the presentation, the Director of the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research of the Statistics Agency, Bakhodir Gayibnazarov, introduced the participants to the activities of the "Institute of Statistical Training" and the "Institute of Statistical Research" of the Korean Statistical Office, the structure, history of the institute, training programs, the advanced training system, teaching aids, research areas and mechanisms for their implementation in practice. Also during the event, an exchange of views on the topic took place, and questions from the participants were answered in detail.
