On June 10, 2024, a presentation was held at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan following the event of specialists from the statistical services of the CIS countries "Formation of food resource balances" as part of the implementation of the CIS statistics development project for 2024, supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, which took place on June 5-6 of this year in Astana, Kazakhstan.
At the presentation, Deputy Head of the Agency's Agricultural Statistics Department Shukhrat Rustamovich Daliev and Chief Specialist of the Department of Statistical Monitoring of Agricultural Entities Azamat Suyunovich Gaffarov acquainted the participants with the issues discussed at the event.
In particular, he acquainted the participants with the formation of the balance of the main types of food resources, problems in this area, the results achieved by the CIS countries in improving the processes of calculating the balance of the main types of food resources, and other best practices.
Also during the event, an exchange of views on the topic took place, and detailed answers were given to the participants' questions.
