On September 10, 2024, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a presentation on the results of the working visit of the group of the delegation of Uzbekistan "Using data in organizing data management and developing policy documents in the Republic of Latvia and its institutions", which took place on September 2-5 in Riga, Latvia, organized by the European Union and the Republic of Latvia in cooperation with the Agency strategic reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the presentation, the head of the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work Dilshod Zakirov, who took part in this event, told the participants about the experience of Latvian institutions such as the State Land Service, the Ministry of Smart Management and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Social Protection, the Central Bank, the State Tax Service, the Children's Clinical Hospital for data management.
Also, during the event, an exchange of views on the topic and detailed answers to questions of interest to the participants took place.
