On September 9-12, 2024, a regional workshop on climate change and biodiversity accounting for Central Asia and the Caucasus was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, organized by the United Nations Statistics Division and the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific with the support of the Office of the Director General in Statistical Policy Planning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of the Government Japan and in cooperation with the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
