The employees of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan returned to the "Korea Statistics" office of the Republic of Korea on August 20-23 of this year in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.
During this visit, the experience of the Korean Statistics Office ("Korea Statistics") in the areas of ICT development and provision of information and cyber security was studied. Also, a number of meetings and presentations were held with representatives of "Korea Statistics" regarding these areas.
During these meetings, the general structure of the Korean national statistical system and the activities of "Korea Statistics", the work carried out to ensure cyber security, the activities of the micro data integrated service center, "Statistical data collection system", "Administrative data management system", "KOSIS information system" were discussed. ", "Selective Observations System" and "Smart Data Collection" Center activities were introduced and mutual experience was exchanged. At the same time, a presentation was made by the delegation of Uzbekistan on the topic "State and prospects of improving the national statistical system based on digital technologies".
Also, during the business trip, he visited the electronic government data center of the Republic of Korea (E-Government of Korea) and got acquainted with its activities. In addition, the experiences of the Korea Statistics Office (Korea Statistics) on determining the technical aspects of the purchased tablet devices for the planned census activities were closely familiarized.
At the end of the meetings, it was agreed to continue more effective cooperation between the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the "Korea statistics" office of the Republic of Korea.
