On September 19, 2024, a presentation was held at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of the exchange of experience on August 20-23 this year in Daejeon, Republic of Korea between employees of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the “Korea Statistics” Office of the Republic of Korea in the field of ICT development and information and cybersecurity.
In the presentation, the head of the Information and Cybersecurity Department, Dzhanadilov Shakhboz Uktamovich, who participated in this business trip, informed the participants about the issues discussed during the exchange of experience, including the general structure of the Korean national statistical system and the activities of the Statistics Department of the Republic of Korea ("Korea statistics"), ongoing work to ensure cybersecurity, the provision of comprehensive microdata services for the center's activities, "Statistical data collection system", "Administrative data management system", "KOSIS Information System", "Sample Survey System", the activities of the Smart Data Collection center, including the development of ICT, and also introduced the best practices obtained in the field of information and cybersecurity.
Also, during the event, an exchange of views on the topic took place, and answers to the questions of the participants were given in detail.
