On September 22-24 of this year, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the International Monetary Fund's regional center for capacity development for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia "New trends in economic statistics and large-scale data processing" technologies" meeting of the high-level statistical council was held.

The event was attended by experts from the International Monetary Fund's Regional Center for Capacity Development for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia and the Department of Statistics, as well as representatives of the National Statistics Office, the Central Bank and the Ministries of Finance.

Shakhboz Samadov, deputy head of the Digital Technologies and Interactive Services Development Department of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also participated in this seminar.

During the visit, the level of transparency in the distribution of statistical data and the introduction of large-scale data processing technologies into the statistical system and the improvement of the national accounts system were discussed.
