Today, on October 25, the mission of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCATO) delegation to the Statistics Agency came to an end.
Rachel Biven, director of ESCATO's Statistics Department, experts on big data Eric Diben and Sergey Gusev, and employees of the agency's central office took part in the five-day meetings.
For information, on October 21 of this year, a delegation headed by Rachel Biven, Director of the Statistics Department of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCATO), started its work at the Statistics Agency.
Within the framework of the project, ESKATO experts provided methodological skills on the integration of Internet data and EPOS data of the Tax Committee into the process of forming the consumer price index (INI). Assistance was also provided with the data processing requirements required for this integration.
During the mission, the priorities of cooperation in the field of statistics and the participation of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the programs and training seminars organized by ESCATO were also discussed.
