On February 14 of this year, a legal awareness-raising event was held at the Statistics Agency to enhance the legal literacy of employees and explain the essence of recently adopted regulatory legal acts.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the Statistics Agency.
The event was opened by O. Soliev, the leading legal adviser of the Legal Department of the Statistics Agency, who spoke about the reforms carried out in our country during January and early February.
He also explained to the employees the content, essence, goals, and objectives of the regulatory legal acts adopted during this period.
Initially, employees were briefed on the content and legal aspects of Articles 27 and 28 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-707 "On Official Statistics" dated August 11, 2021, and Appendix No. 22 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 612 "On Measures to Systematize Regulatory Legal Acts Regulating the Provision of Public Services" dated November 20, 2023, concerning the provision of public services in the field of statistics.
Employees were also informed about legislative innovations and newly adopted regulatory legal documents.
The content, essence, and tasks of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-39 "On Measures to Streamline the Procurement of Electricity" dated February 3, 2025, and the Resolution No. PP-41 "On Additional Measures for Further Improvement of the System of Social Services and Assistance to Children with Disabilities" dated February 3, 2025, were outlined.
Additionally, employees were explained the essence and legal aspects of the order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 2-mh "On approval of the methodology for monitoring the implementation of regulatory legal acts" dated January 31, 2025 (registered on February 7, 2025, registration No. 3605).
At the end of the event, detailed answers were provided to the participants' questions.
