In January-September of this year, the number of foreign citizens who arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes amounted to 1,354.3 thousand people. Of the foreign citizens who arrived, 687.5 thousand (50.8%) were men, 666.8 thousand (49.2%) were women. From the distribution of foreign citizens arriving for tourist purposes, according to the purpose of the trip, it can be seen that 88.5% of them arrived in order to visit relatives.
