On the initiative of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, on March 24 this year in the village of Samsara, Tashkent region, a festival of national folk games was held under the slogan “National values are our incomparable wealth”.
The purpose of organizing this event is to ensure the implementation of Resolution No. 735 "On Additional Measures to Support a Healthy Lifestyle and Increase Physical Activity of the Population" under the slogan "Defeat the Pandemic with Sports" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On Additional Measures to Support a Healthy Lifestyle and Increase Physical Activity of the Population.
The festival was attended by sports promoters, as well as members of their families, 150 media workers of ministries and organizations of the Republic. During the festival, competitions were held in several directions. In particular, on Wednesday, March 24, competitions in national wrestling, chillaka, rock climbing and other types of national folk games were organized. It was attended by sports promoters of organizations, as well as representatives of the media.
According to the results of the competition, the chief specialist of the State Committee on Statistics for national wrestling Inoyatov Sarvar took the honorable third place and was awarded a prize diploma and gifts.
