On the basis of the schedule approved by the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on March 31 this year, a round table for university students was organized at Gulistan State University by the Statistics Agency and the Department of Statistics of the Syrdarya region.
The round table was attended by the head of the department of industrial statistics of the Agency of Statistics Eler Babakhanov, the first deputy head of the department of statistics of the Syrdarya region Salakhiddin Yakhyaev, teachers and students of the university.
At the beginning of the round table, Eler Babakhanov gave students a detailed understanding of the formation and analysis of indicators of industrial statistics in the Republic of Uzbekistan, terms related to industrial statistics, methods for calculating the volume of production of consumer goods, methods for calculating production by technological types.
Also, the first deputy head of the Department of Statistics of the Syrdarya region, Salakhiddin Yakhyaev, informed the students in detail on the issues on the agenda.
The round table was full of heated debates and discussions. At the end of the round table, questions of interest to students were answered in detail by experts.
