In January-June 2023, 1,267.5 thousand tons of meat (in live weight) were produced in the republic, or in relation to 2022, this figure was 103.8%.
A significant share of the total volume of meat belongs to the Tashkent region (12.1 %). At the same time, high rates of meat production were noted in Kashkadarya (11.6 %), Samarkand (11.4 %), Bukhara (10.6 %) and Khorezm (7.7 %) regions.
