As we previously reported, in order to widely introduce a healthy lifestyle and further develop mass sports in our country, traditional football competitions “Government Cup” were organized among employees of the central office of various ministries, departments and other government organizations.
A team consisting of employees of the central office of the Statistics Agency also participates in the “Government Cup” competition.
The team of the Statistics Agency defeated the team of the Customs Committee with a score of 2:0 in the first match and reached the 1/8 final stage.
In the 1/8 finals, the team of the Statistics Agency met with the Cadastre Agency and won with a score of 2:0 and reached the quarterfinals.
It is worth noting that this year more than 30 teams were registered at the competition. The draw ceremony, conducted by specialists from the Football Association of Uzbekistan, was transparent, fair and strictly in accordance with sporting principles.
According to the competition regulations, matches last two halves of 20 minutes each. The matches take place at the Bunyodkor stadium.
