According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 69,000 tons of bananas worth 20.4 million US dollars from 9 foreign countries in January-March 2026.
The volume of banana imports increased by 21.3 thousand tons or 44.7 % compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
Countries that supplied the most bananas to Uzbekistan during this period:
- Ecuador - 53.5 thousand tons;
- China - 11.1 thousand tons;
- Turkey - 3.4 thousand tons;
- Russia - 404.3 tons;
- Other countries - 555.8 tons.
