According to the National Statistics Committee, the retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January-May 2026 amounted to 210.2 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 20.7 % compared to the same period last year.
As of June 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector amounted to 88,686.
During this period, wholesale trade turnover amounted to 209.4 trillion soums, an increase of 15.4 % compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of June 1, 55,216 commercial enterprises operate in the wholesale trade sector of the republic.
