According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 421,918 tonnes of potatoes worth USD 34 million from 11 countries in January–June 2026.
The volume of imports decreased by nearly 46.9 thousand tonnes compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
The leading suppliers of potatoes to Uzbekistan during this period were:
Kazakhstan — 337.9 thousand tonnes;
Pakistan — 33.8 thousand tonnes;
Kyrgyz Republic — 14.8 thousand tonnes;
Afghanistan — 13.5 thousand tonnes;
the Netherlands — 9.7 thousand tonnes;
other countries — 12.2 thousand tonnes.
