According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan amounted to approximately UZS 370.6 trillion in January–August 2026.
This figure increased by 18.8% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of September 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector stood at 92,434.
During the period under review, wholesale trade turnover amounted to UZS 447.7 trillion, representing an increase of 16.9% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of September 1, 58,261 commercial enterprises were operating in the wholesale trade sector across the country.
