According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan imported 39.8 thousand tonnes of chicken meat worth USD 47.6 million from 18 countries in January–August 2026.
The volume of imports increased by 7.9 thousand tonnes, or 24.8%, compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
The main suppliers of chicken meat to Uzbekistan during this period were:
Türkiye — 10.2 thousand tonnes;
Russia — 7.2 thousand tonnes;
China — 5.2 thousand tonnes;
Belarus — 3.5 thousand tonnes;
United States — 3.4 thousand tonnes;
Other countries — 10.3 thousand tonnes.
